Two for the price of one today! A sunny day for a sculpture in New York and a rainy day for a sculpture in Budapest. The New York photo was taken by me on Friday and the Budapest photo was also taken on Friday by my husband, and edited by me. It's very sweet that he's looking for public art to take photos for me 😊

A color photo taken in front of the Hudson Yards building of a giant sized pink and purple metallic teddy bear. It is leaning back on its arms with its feet out so you can see the bottom of the foot. The bottom of the foot has the words "love matters" scratched into it in white. And the rest of the bear is covered with different words that have been scratched into it. I can see the words dream, desire and many others. The bear's eyes and nose are a bright yellow and behind it is a great deal of trees and shrubbery. Right above the trees can be seen a few floors of the Vessel, a sculpture that looks a bit like a beehive with different sets of stairs for people to walk up and see the view. It was a bright sunny day.

Taken on the same day in Budapest where it was very rainy is a photo of a sculpture of a big red apple that has had a bite taken out of it. It is sitting on a gray brick pedestal and has a green leaf sticking out of the stem. It's sitting in the middle of a shopping district. A store or two can be seen in the background with a few people and their umbrellas. Behind the Apple are three table umbrellas but no one is sitting outside because of the rain. The top of the picture shows three large green leaves with raindrops on them. The foreground is mainly gray wet cement and a walkway with some green shrubbery towards the bottom right.

A lovely door on Gramercy Park. It's a pretty area, but it's a locked park that people in certain buildings get keys to open. I have rarely, if ever, seen anyone in the park. It's so sad, that there's this beautiful space that never gets used.

They're about 10 stairs going up and each riser has four squares spaced out that are rimmed in black with a black X in the middle. It makes a pattern going up the stairs. The railings are very old style with a heavy black rod iron railing on top with brass fittings. In the foreground on the right at the base of the stairs the stonework curves around and turns into it's own street lamp. It is also black wrought iron. The doors at the top of the stairs are back with a criss cross pattern on the panels. Around the door is more of the ornate stonework in rust and on the left side are some carved rectangles going up the side of the building with plain ones in between. On the right side is the yellowish stone from the brown store next door and the leaves from a tree

Like many, I've been captivated by the Artemis II launch. And after watching the events unfold, the emotions from others, the songs and poems written, relearning the mythology of the names surrounding the mission and seeing the splashdown...

*sigh*
Saying "I love you to the moon and back" has taken on such a huge and different meaning. And I'm so much more enamored with Luna than I already was.

A color photo of a huge tower of condos, probably built in the 1960s or 70s. It consists of a tower on each side that is larger and a thin tower in the middle. Each level of windows is separated by a large strip of color. In this case I have brought the natural oranges and greens up a bit and the windows look black in several places. There are also three smaller buildings on the left and one at the corner on the right. The photo has been made to look very futuristic. And there is a frame on it that looks like a TV screen.

The reflection from the window is many brown stones across the street and a large lamp post with a banner on it, as well as a white car towards the bottom and the sidewalk. Coming through from inside the store is a light fixture on the right hand side that is made up of more than a dozen little round light orange bubbles with light inside of them. But the main focus of the photo is a glass vertebrae that was hanging in the window. It looks just like the skeleton of your spine only made out of glass
