Did any #Slavic people adopt “oně” as a gender-neutral pronoun in contrast to “on/ona”? #Interslavic dictionary says that “oně” is mainly used for a group of females, but it fell out of use in #Russian so long ago no one remembers what it stands for. Which is good, because it can be recycled into something useful now!
Other Slavic languages might have it different, though…
