A very tall, J-shaped creature that looks a little like something between a chicken and an ostrich. It has two spindly legs, an explosion of feathers sticking up from the back, and a very tall neck. However, it also has two small arms higher up on its neck. It is mostly a black silhouette framed against a dark blue sky, with one bright white eye visible.

With the UK #elections coming up, politicians are in full spin (lie) mode. Consequently, misinformation, and its evil twin, disinformation, are rife online.
To save me having to point out each and every time an untrue claim is made, I've created my own lttle response graphic.

It's early morning or early evening. The sky is an indigo blue. A small rocket takes off from a simple launchpad, blasting into the air and leaving a towering inferno on the ground. The problem is that the rocket has launched at an angle, bouncing off the support structure to the left of it before seemingly regaining its trajectory and heading for space. The support structure has two small, pale, white lights on it and is slightly faded towards the top, suggesting fog. On the side of the rocket is a single round portal, revealing a figure silhouetted in greenish light.

#art #history: i promised myself that this year would be the one during which i paid tribute to the revolutionary, frida kahlo (born #otd in 1907), & then i was too busy to do her any sort of justice. not only have i rushed her portrait, but i've also had no time to write up the sort of blurb that she merits. she was a death-defying, genre-spanning communist powerhouse & diego was punching waaaaaaaay up. :)
