Streetartwall. The mural of a unique animal was sprayed/painted on the two-storey exterior wall of an elementary school with two windows. A hare with long ears and legs and a tortoise shell on its back hops through a green landscape of trees, meadows and hills. This unusual animal is depicted in rich detail in shades of blue, gray and green. (The photo shows a green meadow in front of the mural and the imposing gray mountains behind it.)
Info: "The tortoise and the hare" is a fable by the ancient Greek fabulist Aesop. In the fable, an animal that is considered slow proposes a race to a faster animal. The arrogant hare competes against the calm tortoise, and the latter immediately sets off, while the hare indulges in laziness. The tortoise wins. The fable is also told in other countries as "Hare and Hedgehog", in which the hedgehog wins the race with his cunning.

Mountain Hare

Yawning.

They don't do a great deal during the day, at this time of the year, so seeing one do this, is a good thing.

We let our lawn grow completely wild this summer. The neighbours are probably gasping in horror, but the bun seems a fan. I'm with the bun.
