The day before King Harald V died, I was at the Palace Square in Oslo to take photos of people gathering there. Before I arrived, I was unsure how I could ethically and respectfully take the photos I wanted.

I don't know much about King Harald V of Norway, who has just died, but reading an obituary isn't it refreshing to have a Head of State who said this:
He said Norwegians are from "Afghanistan, Pakistan and Poland, from Sweden, Somalia, and Syria," they "believe in God, Allah, the Universe and nothing", and they "are girls who love girls, boys who love boys, and girls and boys who love each other".
