The weekend is here! What do you plan to play or watch?
We're starting Laika off with a boss fight on Sunday.
Offline, we're playing the Monster Hunter Wilds: Festival of Accord: Dreamspell, and Octopath Traveler 2. One of us is stuck with writing contracts.
Demonstration of my race game side project, feels like a solid base 🚗 🚕 not sure about visual style yet, I kinda miss the natural vibes from my previous track.. but the physics feel great right now

The weekend has arrived! What do you plan to play or watch?
We're streaming more Laika on Sunday. We're finally in a story-heavy section and it's quite dark.
Offline we're playing Monster Hunter Wilds, the Darq bonus chapters, and Octopath Traveler 2.
Some wisdom from a Japanese gamer. As a designer I thought about it in the context of UX. But, really, it can be applied to most any challenge in life.

Finally finished implementing the classic 15 puzzle game but using the standard #OpenStreetMap tiles as the sliding pieces! 🗺️🧩
While there are many implementations of this game (some even let you upload your own image), as far as I know, not one directly uses OSM slippy map tiles for the pieces. I figured this would be a nifty side coding project and it was fun to do! 💪
Currently you can play any of 20 map locations. Enjoy! 🎉

My ever-relevant search for friends continues:
I'm looking for people or a group of friends to hang out and play games with. At this point I don't even care what games, the only 2 I will not play under any circumstances are League of Legends and Valorant, due to Ritos Vanguard anti-cheat. From Overwatch 2 to Texas Chainsaw Massacre, heck even Fortnite, I'm open for everything.
And yes the main platform for me would be Discord, I know it gets a lot of hate but it is what it is (am open to alternatives like TeamSpeak or whatever tho)
I have absolutely no clue how you'd find friends naturally so I'm putting myself out there with this post.

Got Steam installed on Fedora and started playing around a game called Farthest Frontier...
It runs very smoothly! Though only 60fps because that's what Fedora thinks my monitor can do... But 60fps is plenty for this village / town / city building game!
