Today he would have celebrated his 78th. Except the U.S. government ended his life at the age of 21. Simply for seeking equality for Black Americans.
Fred founded the Rainbow Coalition. An organization intended to create class solidarity, with a focus on marginalized people. He aimed to unite poor and working-class people across racial lines against shared oppression.
