It was a nasty bug that slide in with #deno 2.2.
Fixed by replacing external #UUID library with bultins uuid library.

I just found something interesting and funny about Redox os.
Its operating system written fully in rust. Right?
Rust is created by oxidation of iron in presence of oxygen, in chemistry such reaction is called redox reaction.
Idk sounds funny to me, wonder if it was intentional @redox

I woke up to a comment so smug, so perfectly soaked in gatekeeping and faux-righteous posturing, it earned its own blog post.
You want freedom? You want GNU/Linux to mean something?
Then maybe start by not telling disabled users to go fuck themselves with a smile.
This commenter thought they were defending "software freedom." What they were really doing was kicking people out of the room. Dismissing accessibility. Mocking effort. Pretending that cruelty is some kind of rite of passage. They quoted Stallman like it was scripture, ignored real-world experience like it was noise, and wrapped it all in condescension dressed as virtue.
I’ve spent over a decade in this ecosystem. Writing patches. Rebuilding broken stacks. Helping blind users boot systems upstream doesn’t even test. I didn’t "just install Arch and whine about the terminal." I lived in it. I survived it. I held it together when maintainers disappeared and no one else gave a damn.
But apparently, because I didn’t call it GNU/Linux™ and because I dared to talk about how this OS chews people up and spits them out, I’m lazy. I’m weak. I should "get a dog."
So I wrote a response. Line by line. No mercy. No euphemisms.
This isn’t just about one comment. This is about every time someone’s been told they don’t belong because they couldn’t learn fast enough, code well enough, or survive long enough. It’s about everyone who was pushed out while the gatekeepers patted themselves on the back for "preserving the spirit of free software."
You want a free system? Start by making it livable. Because freedom that demands you crawl bleeding through a broken bootloader isn’t freedom. It’s abandonment dressed in ideology.
And if this kind of gatekeeping is your idea of community?
You can keep it.

It's probably a good idea to do another #introduction since people change over time, ideally.
I'm haui. I help people & build things that help people. Big #foss enthusiast, #sysadmin by day and #hacktivist at night.
I think all people (and animals) are born equal and should stay that way.
I oppose #capitalism and embrace alternative systems. I dont care about #corporatedemocracy and manipulated "free speech".
I want thirst, hunger and homelessness gone, for everyone, by any means necessary.
It's nice to finally see @kev and @mike make statements about the drama that happened on #Fosstodon however, the sad part is to see that they are both likely stepping away. They will either shut the instance down completely or possibly let others take it over to keep it alive.
Regardless, there will be a lot of people that will end up needing/wanting to find a new instance to call home, and that's not a fun experience here on the #Fediverse
With regards to them both stepping away, regardless of how it's done, I get it, totally.
I ran #AllThingsTech along with @beardedtechguy and while it was a ton of fun at times, it was indeed a LOT of work, and it was quite costly, even as a small server with only a couple hundred users. I can't imagine the work and the costs associated with a server that has nearly 10,000 users and is almost 8 years old.
I certainly wish Kevin and Mike both the best of luck in whatever decision they make and I hope all of those that decide to move to another instance or may end up being forced to move to another instance are able to move without much hassle or issues. This is definitely one place Mastodon needs to get much better at if it ever wants to be mainstream and truly successful in a larger fashion.

Fread 经历了两年多的开发，从开始到现在一直免费使用，之前由于没考虑好到底是付费下载还是免费所以闭源，仓库里也有很多敏感数据一直没法开源，现在主要功能都开发的差不多了，也是时候开源出来了。
虽然这种项目大部分都是业务代码，但是 Fread 还是有些独特之处的，首先使用的是 Kotlin Multiplatform 和 Compose Multiplatform 做跨平台，目前像 Fread 这么复杂的产品使用这样技术栈的其实很少，并且这是比较新的技术，这点 Fread 有很多参考意义。
另外 Fread 因为要兼容多个社交平台以及混合 Feeds，所以架构设计上下了点功夫，目前可以从架构上兼容这些短博客协议。
总之，虽然确实希望通过 Fread 赚钱，但我更希望自己开发了这么久的 App 有更多的人使用和喜欢。

Feel like I really not updating a lot of my old project but today is the day I do!
finally updated my fork of imgs (A simple image sharing platform) imgp to support account, image management and API creation besides the original S3 storage modification
I started regularly donating about a year ago. I am now supporting 8 different projects with 20,77€ per month, and it didn't hurt at all.
Why pay for something free? Because free software only exists because other people already paid for it. Someone has to do it. It's time to do your part!
If you can afford a subscription service, then you probably can afford a little donation, too. Start with 0.1% of your income.
