Stefano Domenicali says that #F1 fans aren't interested in car telemetry. What a load of crap. He's making excuses for removing telemetry from broadcasts because it would show just how energy starved the cars are with these new regulations.

I'm sitting here watching the IndyCar 2026 Marathon stream and happily seeing all the car telemetry being shown when we get in-car shots.

F1 is really trying to push actual motorsport fans away and catering to celebrities instead. When it comes to open wheel, IndyCar is more exciting. And the new IndyCar IR-28 looks fantastic compared to current Formula 1 cars.

I've had the 2026 IndyCar Full Race Marathon streaming on and off just to have some motorsport on.

I'm watching the podium for the IndyCar 250-lap race at the Phoenix Raceway and they have a cowboy serving what looks like delicious beef brisket to the drivers on the podium while they are receiving their trophies. Malukas couldn't chew fast enough and spent most of the podium chewing on his piece of brisket. This is awesome and just enough fun that it put a smile on my face.

Formula 1 should introduce some fun things like this for their podiums.
