Bluesky post by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani:
"Calling all NYC artists — painters, filmmakers, poets, musicians and more! Did you know our city provides grants to support your work every year?
And this year, we're DOUBLING the amount — from $5,000 up to $10,000 per artist!
Deadlines are approaching fast — apply today at: (link in my post)"
Below there's a still from the video linked in the post, showing Dija Vij, Commissioner of the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, and Zohran Mamdani, seated in front of easels and painting on canvases. (She's good, he's not even trying)
