<p>I've had Honk, a light hearted activitypub platform, installed for quite awhile now. <p>What I do love about <a href="/tags/mastodon/" rel="tag">#Mastodon</a> and the greater <a href="/tags/fediverse/" rel="tag">#Fediverse</a>, by the way, are the personalities. There *is* a culture here. </p><p>Other microblogging sites have a sort of algorithmic supremacy going on where you trade personality for a ticket to the internet celebrity lottery. No individualism. You pick your niche from a set deck and you play the FYP slots. </p><p>Meanwhile, everyday I run into someone who's like "hey I'm star-cake. I'm a queer carrot farmer. I collect Soviet-era camera lenses." Amazing.</p>

<p>Angeblich gibt es wieder einmal eine Welle des <a href="/tags/twitterexodus/" rel="tag">#TwitterExodus</a>. Eigentlich müsste es <a href="/tags/xexodus/" rel="tag">#xExodus</a> heißen, denn <a href="/tags/twitter/" rel="tag">#Twitter</a> war mal etwas anderes als X. Viele verlassen angeblich <a href="/tags/x/" rel="tag">#X</a>, aber sie kommen nicht ins <a href="/tags/fediverse/" rel="tag">#Fediverse</a> sondern wechseln zu <a href="/tags/bluesky/" rel="tag">#bluesky</a>, eine Art Twitter ohne Nazis. Ob sich dieser Traum erfüllt, ist die eine Frage. Ich finde diese Entwicklung gar nicht so schlimm. Leute, die das Gleiche wie Twitter wollen, werden im Fediversum nicht heimisch werden.</p>
