Popped up into the DJ booth at Null Sector on the last night of #emfcamp, big fan of the entire screen full of options for both smoke and flamers.

A DJ booth constructed out of a shipping container, full of lighting and mixing desks. A touchscreen in the middle of the picture shows a set of smoke and fire controls, including a big one labelled "!! FIRE !!"

Walked out of the showers just as "HACK THE PLANET" echoed out over the field from our film stage while lasers dance from Null Sector and bass booms out over the sound of tesla coils playing a DJ set. Pretty great event we made here. #emfcamp #emf2024

I have finally departed the #emfcamp site, after twelve days of build-up, festival, and teardown (though teardown continues with the amazing people who can keep going).

I'm exhausted physically but mentally energised, and already missing all my friends but also looking forward to 2026. I'd say I'm heading home, but in many ways I am leaving home, and I will be back there with everyone in two years' time.

Just a threadlet of a few random #EMFCamp photos now that I'm home and have had some sleep

Passing on an invitation from my other half who is not currently engaged in Fediversal things: would anyone going to #emfcamp be interested in an informal session to learn about knitting a mitred square blanket? Also generally chatting about knitting?

Pictured is an example of how this type of blanket can come out; it's really good for using up little bits of yarn. She'll bring a few spare sets of double point needles and some yarn but feel free to bring yours also, the more the merrier :)

We are so excited that we have 35mm projection coming to #EMFCamp this year. Apollo 13 and How To Train Your Dragon will both be shown as the Film Gods intended.

Better still, for Apollo 13 we get the original theatrical audio mix, not the suppressed home release version. The launch scene will feel like an earthquake.
