My dad's dog, Harcourt, who is just the sweetest little Shiba-Hua-Hua, needs a soft landing!
He loves treats, butt scritches, walks, sitting on the front porch watching the neighborhood, glaring at neighbors, sleeping in sunny corners, nesting in his comfy bed, and jumping in your lap for snuggles.
He hates ice cream trucks. He will chase mice.
He would be perfect for anyone who wants to unleash a volcano of affection on a little potato.
I want him to find a soft new home so much.

When the spaniels have their trim the terrier has to be allowed to join in by sitting on the table, often under the dog being trimmed, and having the switched off trimmers run over her for a few minutes when the spaniels are finished. Otherwise she sulks. #DogsOfMastodon
📷 There were a couple cars ahead of me in line to use the FREE AIR machine at QT. I spotted Maggie hopping out the car in front of me, followed by Dad.
"Hey! Mind if I get a picture of your dog for my blog?"
Maggie, Dad and Mom were on the way home to Atlanta from just outside Richmond.
She's a rescue and very protective, Dad cautioned.
Maggie was skeptical at first (here), but after a couple minutes of sweet talk, she gave me a tiny lick on the knuckles when I held out my hand for a sniff. ❤️

Got up early to finish prepping for the day's classes, but Winchester had other priorities.
I left work before 4 pm which is the key to come home without getting trapped in traffic. Kengo had supper and waiting for me to eat mine so he can get some scrap (reduced amounts these days).
