There are two recliners in our living room. Maybe we should have three.
Every morning poor Summer has to beg for someone to share their chair with her.
If she just settled for her big round dog bed or the sofa she might get cold and lonely.
That would be very sad.
When Summer's pal sat on the edge of his chair before scooting back she saw her opportunity and took the back seat. Summer is quick.
These sweet cuddles set the tone for our whole day.
We are thankful Summer is part of our family and that her loving instincts are absolutely right on every time.

People are complicated. I really don’t understand them. And they really don’t understand me. Because if it, my heart breaks every day. And I probably break someone’s heart every day.
But this little guy. He sits on my lap and I pet him. He jumps for joy and loses his mind when I come home. He curls up with me when we’re sleeping. That’s not complicated at all.

In my happy, slightly spooky place. This dog is so skittish, it warms my heart whenever I can get her to settle in. I’m trying my best not to move and ruin it.
