On May 10, Ncuti Gatwa starts his first full season as the Doctor — the first Black and first openly queer man to take on the role. Entertainment Weekly talked to him about the responsibility he feels to get things right. “I was really cautious about getting it right throughout filming,” the Rwandan-Scottish actor explains. “It’s 60 years’ worth of legacy and 60 years’ worth of a show that people have loved and watched with their families. It lives in people’s hearts, so I really wanted to protect that.”

This is great. Disney workers, trying to unionize, created buttons and stickers featuring Mickey Mouse's raised, clenched fist. It's public domain after all! Disney tried to stop them wearing these at work, but there's a law that says companies can't do that, even if they have a dress code, so the unionizers are suing Disney.

This is what Disney has deleted from Pixar's Win or Lose. This beautiful, moving, relatable sequence that would've meant so much to so many kids for years to come was not worth the risk of controversy to them.
Trans art is being censored. Our stories are being erased.
So I want people to see this.
