I'm not an easy person to figure out, until you learn one or two random weird things about me and then I feel like I'm a real easy, open book.

Every once in awhile I change my header to something that I feel like has an interesting or informative story behind it to fill in the lines of my...well, let's be generous and call it my eccentricity: a collage of quirkiness

I call myself the Duke of California because if the United States had a way for upper-class people to participate in society instead of with destruction and extraction and there were actual responsibility attached to their privilege instead of money and power some sort of mix of hereditary and meritocratic guidelines would pretty easily Grant my grandfather, Warren Dorn, the duchy of California... Apart from being one of the main architects of postwar, Southern California he, with one sentence, changed the world

As supervisor of #LACounty he had the largest block of constituents South of San Francisco. And he got them behind the aqueduct with the addition of a lake

"LA will get behind this if we get a lake* out of the bargain"

And that is a trait that we all have to one degree or another in my family... The ability to grasp what's happening with a large group of people and put it into a sentence

The rest of my family has squandered that with privilege and vibe

I'm the only one with that #lordNelson level #imposterSyndrome driving me to do public service, art, advocacy etc.

It comes from #autism and #CPTSD...most find it tiresome and I've been thoroughly ridiculed in my life, but generally find that people come around to whatever crazy thing I've said eventually

*What we call #lakeCastaic was promised to be Dorn lake... But the slander he had to endure that ended his Los Angeles service reduced it to The Warren M Dorn recreation center instead

Somewhere I have an "86 LA times article from the front of the metro section where they begrudgingly admit to his contribution to the aqueduct but I just spent some time looking for it unsuccessfully
