Fred Complaints

I don’t get the appeal of disc brakes. Fiddly and a bunch of tiny model-specific parts and if you hit something with the disc and bang it out of true you’re out of luck.

I just ordered some Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires

My old bike tires come with the bike and have 3000+ miles on it. I started getting flats since early September. Every other ride. Fortunately I got the flat at the end of the ride last time and I didn’t even notice before I got home 😝

I’m excited to try GP5000! I’ve been told they’re good!

Cafe ride from Upton MA to Slaterville RI… it was delicious avocado toast! Perfect weather today. I probably overdressed a bit, but I took off the cap and gloves on the way back, and the breeze felt so good.
