"Lightning Bug Lane."

I didn't see many lightning bugs this year ... but how i do love them.

I hand painted it in #CorelPainter from a photo I took up at one of the country roads leading to #blueknoballseasonsresort ... then played around quite a bit! It's #NotAi.

A winding dirt road meanders through a luminous dusky forest lit with twinkling fireflies gently floating through the glowing sunset. The tranquil scene evokes a magical atmosphere.

I didn't see many lightning bugs this year, I think it's going to take a few years for the construction in our area to calm down enough for them to feel comfy again ... but how i do love them. They are a part of lots of my childhood memories ... happy memories that, the older I get, the more real they seem.
