25 years ago, on February 13, 2000 the final "Peanuts" comic strip was released. It followed the death of Charles M. Schulz the day before, as he passed away only a few hours before its publication, serving as his final farewell to his readers.

#OTD in 1908.

The weekly boys' story paper The Magnet is first published in London, containing "The Making of Harry Wharton", the first serial story of the fictional Greyfriars School written by Charles Hamilton as Frank Richards and introducing the character of Billy Bunter. He was introduced as a minor character, but developed into one of the principal characters of the stories as author Charles Hamilton realised his comic potential.

Working on a little experiment, trying to convert a Batman artwork by the skilled Max Grecke to 3D as faithfully as possible.

Instead of focusing on modeling, as I usually do, I'm putting the emphasis on transferring the texture, which takes a lot of work in Blender Texture Paint.
