Working on a little experiment, trying to convert a Batman artwork by the skilled Max Grecke to 3D as faithfully as possible.

Instead of focusing on modeling, as I usually do, I'm putting the emphasis on transferring the texture, which takes a lot of work in Blender Texture Paint.

Green has wiggled himself entirely on Blue's side of the bed, pressing against him. Both of the foxes are startled awake as Green bolts up, eyes wide. Green: I sent the peanut delivery to the wrong address and my alien grandma fell outside and I can't find the- Green pauses, collecting himself. Blue looks at him, still somewhat shaken. Green: Wait... That was a dream, wasn't it? Blue: Yep. Relieved, Green settles back down. Now wide awake, Blue looks at him. Green: Oh good.

The second one of the foxes shakes itself vigorously, revealing a green centre underneath the yellow dust. Fox 1: Now I know for sure that my allergy meds are working. Having shaken off enough of it to be identified, Green fox still has a substantial coating of pollen on him. The other fox shakes itself - revealing a blue centre. Still squinting, Green pulls his head back from the dust cloud. Green: True. The amount of pollen out there is wild. Now both merely pollen-stained instead of entirely pollen-coated, both of the foxes are still squinting to keep it out of their eyes. Blue: Do you want to take a shower first, or can I? Green: You go ahead.
