#CharleneTheCat was underfoot when I was carrying in groceries today, and I stepped on her tail with my size 14 boot! She howled and disapperated into the bedroom.

Charlene finally emerged a half-hour ago when she heard the lid pop on a can of food. After eating her fill and a trip to the box, she stopped by the desk for scritches. ❤️

It's 77º F on the mountain at sunset—finally cool enough to open windows and turn the fans on.

#CharleneTheCat doesn't mind the heat much. She spent most of the day in her favorite spot on the couch, close enough to the A/C to be comfortable. ❤️

#CharleneTheCat is back after a scary medical emergency Friday. She still has a lower GI infection we’ll be treating with two antibiotics for another week, but her appetite and regular litter box visits have resumed.

#CharleneTheCat hasn't been outdoors on the mountain in two weeks and has adapted well to being an indoor kitty.

She is recovering from her spay surgery, and her daytime routine is eat/sleep/eat/sleep. We're both more lively at night. ❤️
