Two years ago I taught my cat to ring a bell for food. In the first year he only rang it at reasonable meal intervals. Then he started a pattern of ringing but not eating, instead jogging to another room. I took the bell away whenever he did that, and he started rattling dishes purposefully—but not eating. It took me a while to figure out that each time he didn’t eat, he went to look at the drawer where we keep the cat dancer/flirt toys. Now I have to get a different bell for playtime! #Caturday

Jesse James the #cat is keeping his eye on the ball.

Not sure how it happened, but he loves to chew on tennis balls and will often chew the ball until the soft skin tears off. It’s ferociously cute.

It's #Caturday so this is a throwback to 2016 when I became the new owner of an ex-coworker's kitten calendar and spent my lunch breaks "redecorating" it.

June 2016 calendar with a black and white kitten that has been changed into a black metal kitten with a Sharpie and kittens written in an "evil" way but not truly black metal because you can still read it and also because I was lazy and running out of time.

July 2016 calendar with an orange kitten that has been changed into a 1980s exercise kitten with a whiteout pen and some highlighters to make a neon leotard and sweatbands with "kittenz!" written in "3-D" lettering in alternating neon (highlighter) colors.
