Spy x Family, Volume 15 by Tatsuya Endo (2025) completes Martha's story of recovery and return from the war. Sadly she misses Henry by a month, arriving shortly after he has married. Beyond Marta's story, this volume feels like the inspiration to the opening animation from the anime's third season.

Please Look After the Dragon, Volume by 1 Shoun Makise, Yuki Higashiura (Illustrator) and Sarah Burch (Translator) (2026) begins with the agreed upon supposition that there are dragons in Japan and they are magical. Murakami loves dragons and loves playing video games on his time off from work. What he's not into is dragons turning into cute beast girl maids.

Pets of Park Avenue by Stefanie London (2022) is the second book in the Pets of Park Avenue series. Scout Myers works for Paws in the City and is trying to save up the money to take custody of her much younger sister. Her grandparents, though, feel she isn't up to the task especially since she got married on a whim in Las Vegas some years back.

Picked up a new author from the library on a whim and the strength of a Le Guin cover blurb, only to later work out that I've read and enjoyed several of her short stories before! I liked this quite a lot for its strong characters, particularly the lovable supporting character Moth, and its blend of hard science and mysticism, even if the story loses a bit of momentum here and there. @bookstodon #Bookstodon #CarolynIvesGilman
