I recently read "Lunar New Year Love Story" by Gene Luen Yang and LeUyen Pham. I'd picked it up as a good February read and then was quite surprised by all its twists and turns. What surprised me most, though, was how #Catholicism was depicted. I don't think I've ever seen such a realistic, well-rounded portrayal in fiction. I know people like all of these. I feel like the creators knew their material intimately.
