The book is sprightly written, funny, filled with facts, and it makes me angry with enshittifiers.

This took me the whole year to read but that's a reflection of how much time I could find rather than the quality of the book. The writing is sometimes a bit arch and po-faced (but I've been on a Joe Abercrombie kick so everything is by comparison), but it's great. Full of intrigue, queers, and dragons, wyrms, and wyverns. What's not to like?
