I tried really hard, but I don't think I'm smart/patient/knowledgeable to hold on to the last 1/3 of the book.<br/><br/>The first 2/3 was great. A set of great discussions about gravity and quantum mechanics – firmed up a bunch of my understanding.<br/><br/>The rest was just – hard. If you took a lot of college physics – or you're just adventurous, give it a try.

Like the Daemon 2-book series from Daniel Suarez, this book was a really fun ride.<br/><br/>While it was a bit less thrilling than Daemon 1 and 2, it made up for it by presenting a much more plausible set of circumstances.<br/><br/>Plausible <b>and</b> disturbing.<br/><br/>If you enjoy Michael Crichton, you'll likely enjoy Daniel Suarez.<br/><br/>Start it for the great, fast-paced store. Stay for the important public-policy implications it raises.

This is the perfect follow-on to 10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works.<br/><br/>Sam does such a great job of explaining why we want to meditate. And what we can get from it.<br/><br/>I cannot recommend it enough.

Fascinating. Informative. A great read.<br/><br/>It's pretty technical, though. You'll be better off if you've done some computer science or a bit of math beyond high school.

This book probably goes along with those TV shows showing connections between everything. Likely the thesis was taken a bit too far to make a nice story...but it was a nice story.<br/><br/>Great anecdotes. Great history. Fun stories. Glad I read it. Happy to recommend it.

What a crazy surprise! A crazy premise, but very well executed. Characters were super compelling. The mystery of the whole thing had me hooked from the beginning.
