This is the perfect follow-on to 10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works.

Sam does such a great job of explaining why we want to meditate. This book probably goes along with those TV shows showing connections between everything. Likely the thesis was taken a bit too far to make a nice story...but it was a nice story.

Great anecdotes. Great history. Fun stories. Glad I read it. Happy to recommend it.

This one is tough. Mark's ideas are very interesting and likely useful, but this book very much felt like a long article turned into a book.

Maybe the reputation is necessary to really hit his point home.

This felt a lot like the The Einstein Factor: A Proven New Method for Increasing Your Intelligence.
