«La mujer y la voluntad creadora» es una conferencia que la poeta anarcofeminista irlandesa Lola Ridge diera, 10 años antes de la publicación de Una habitación propia, de Virginia Woolf.

En ella, Lola habla de las condiciones materiales e ideológicas del sexismo y de que no haya aparecido una mujer «de genio» en la historia. Su perspectiva es sumamente irónica y nada condescendiente con lo que hoy entendemos por patriarcado.
