Das Jahr geht langsam zu Ende. Die #warteliste ist leer und nur noch das #free-events (Auf meinem Discord Server) für Mini Icons steht am kommenden Samstag an. Angesichts dieser Punkte, hab ich mich entschieden, dieses Jahr keine neuen Aufträge mehr anzunehmen. Ich schließe somit meine Commis bis zum Montag, dem 13. Italian dancer, choreographer and dance theoretician Carlo Blasis died #OTD in 1878.

He published an analysis of the ballet techniques in 1820, in a work named Traité élémentaire, théorique, et pratique de l'art de la danse. He is most known for the pose "Attitude" derived from the famous statue Mercury by Giovanni da Bologna.

Swedish painter and photographer Oscar Gustave Rejlander died #OTD in 1875.

His most famous work, "The Two Ways of Life" (1857), was a large-scale composite image made from over 30 negatives, depicting a moral allegory between vice and virtue. He worked closely with other pioneers like Henry Peach Robinson and was admired by Charles Darwin, who commissioned him to create photographs for The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals (1872).

There's something about running your hands through water, feeling its soft coolness flow through your fingers, that is mesmerizing, captivating.

I remember doing it as a kid, because kids do things like that -- we stared at clouds, ran through fields, stood at the edge of a stream and poked at rocks. Did things for no apparent reason, but through that, thought and imagined and wondered.
