On Dec. 18 2024, #NLRB finally sued #Apple for Apple illegally threatening, suspending, & firing me in 2021. #BadApple
The hearing is scheduled in 2025. NLRB is asking for, among other things: Apple to apologize to me & rehire me, & Apple to give everyone at Apple (managers & workers) labor rights training.

I am irrationally gleeful today because I replaced a #Philips #Hue Bridge v2's power adapter with a USB-A-to-2.5mm-barrel cable.
Now I just plug in the USB-A cable to my new #Anker Prime Charger, 200W 6-Port #GaN Charging Station.
So, I've replaced 4 devices' power supplies with cables that plug into this sweet charging station. A Hue hub, my #Hubitat hub, and two 15w #Apple power supplies for my #HomePod minis.
Now awaiting the cables (USB-A-to-2.1mm-barrel) for my two Eufy Homebase 2's!! 🎉🍾
Consider this: The #EU has just won 2 court cases against big tech. Yet these do not get continuous MSM attention. The USA banning #TikTok is wall-to-wall even here in Europe. We need to celebrate our wins more, not obsess about USA (frankly) incompetence.

Bill Atkinson's passing the week before WWDC is an unfortunate coincidence, but maybe it'll help reframe the company's enduring legacy on modern computing at a time when the company's leadership has, without question, lost the fucking plot.
Two years ago, I live-posted the WWDC keynote on Mastodon. I was excited to see what the Vision Pro would be.
Last year I sat it out. I had a scheduling conflict and the focus was going to be on AI, about which I couldn’t imagine anything that exciting being shown.

It's so fucking stupid how #iPhone/#iOS devices can't be fucking unlocked or backed up or accessed through ANY means the moment ure unable to unlock the phone i.e. through passcode when the screen is (partially) broken.
I've experienced this several times before, last time when my first gen SE had an unresponsive screen, and using Touch ID requires you to unlock the phone through PIN first. Same thing here has happened to my mom's 11 Pro Max, where she couldn't use Face ID to unlock the phone, or connect any USB devices to the phone, without unlocking using her passcode first - 'cept half of her screen's unresponsive to touch, so, not possible.
#Apple devices are so 'secure', with the right combination of things happening to your device.. you could just end up being locked out, forever lol.
😂🤣😂 The #Trump brothers are launching a smartphone to prove to #Apple & #Google that you can build a “Made in #America 🇺🇸” phone—but they are having problems due to many electronic parts being made overseas.
