We don't even need some "evil AGI" that starts WW3 or disabled energy grids, or whatever other million reason to make life for humans miserable
We just need to continue down this stupid LLM AI road we are currently on with building ever bigger energy eating farms just to feed the consumtion of creating even more fake videos, news and other content
And like always just a few are getting rich over the work of the rest
Pessimist or realist... I don't know anymore
At this rate it's honestly surprising that none of the major #AI players have issued an "AICoin" yet (aside from Altman's aspirational spycoin). Maybe that's the final step after institutional investment dries up.

We currently have a generation of children being raised on #AI slop. While it will damage the majority, a certain percentage will rebel when they hit their teens.
I welcome the New Luddites who will know exactly what machine to rage against.

On one of the Facebook groups I follow, someone is posting #AI animations. Many of the replies are along the lines of "Wow, you're so talented. Awesome work!"
And the poster is thanking them with great humility, as if touched by their kind words.
One genuine artist made a disparaging remark about AI and was promptly berated for his cynical attack on the humble, 'talented' AI creator because "things are difficult enough as it is right now for creative people".
