Mudpie 1.0.0 for Android is out.
Mudpie is a free, accessibility-first Android and Mac OS MUD client built for TalkBack and physical-keyboard users from the ground up.
1.0.0 is the biggest release yet:
Classes now work everywhere: the on/off toggle you use for triggers now covers aliases, Lua scripts, key bindings, and quick action buttons too. Flip one switch, silence a whole feature set.
Aliases can do everything triggers can: speak text, play sounds, send notifications, toggle classes, not just expand text anymore.
New quick action bar: configurable buttons above the input for sending commands, speaking text, or playing sounds without a physical keyboard, including expandable button groups.
The Lua script editor got a screen-reader-focused overhaul: line-by-line browsing, a code outline for jumping to functions, go-to-line, and search with match highlighting.
World import can update an existing world in place instead of always duplicating it.
Per-world sound volume, repeat-last-command on blank input, and a setting to keep the keyboard open after sending for braille-keyboard users.
Miriani preset triggers are now fully editable and protected from being overwritten on re-sync.
A slimmer status/input bar frees up screen space, split view panes are fully independent, and a long list of performance work and bug fixes (memory leak, orphaned files on world delete, crash on malformed server output, and more).
