本剧讲述了五年级的小学生·石冈葵（大岛美优）在下着倾盆大雨的某日失踪了。埼玉县警搜查一课的警部补·奈良健市（室毅）收到有人失踪的通知而赶往现场。在那里，他遇到了参加搜索行动的葵的父亲·征则（佐藤隆太）。而其妻·秋奈（游井亮子）因与征则正在协商离婚而分居中，所以还在赶来的路上。葵的失踪是诱拐，还是意外，亦或是因为父母不和而离家出走呢……。葵的搜索行动进展不前，看着征则一家人陷入悲痛的奈良也烦恼起妹妹·真由子（平岩纸）的事情。奈良是因为遭遇了暴徒袭击后才决意成为刑警，因为对没能保护好妹妹而充满后悔，奈良无论如何也想要找到葵。而葵的家人们也在不断祈愿着女儿平安无事。随着信息越来越复杂交错，这家人陷入了焦躁之中，而奈良在执着搜查下也不断接近真相。

Seishiro Tokai (Kazunari Ninomiya) works as a surgeon at a university hospital. He possesses excellent technique with suture and carries a surgery success rate of 100%. Due to his arrogant attitude and personality, he comes into conflict with those around him.

本作以女性卡车司机"卡车明明"的SNS账号为原型，延续2023年FOD平台播出的《卡车女孩》故事。第二季继续描绘积极乐观生活的卡车司机鞍手纯与伙伴们的日常。纯因好友建议开始SNS发帖走红，但其言论引发意外影响，不仅卷入与卡车无关的工作邀约，更遭遇各种意外状况。
