Revival of Evangelion is a re-edit of the Neon Genesis Evangelion films , released in 1998. It consists of Evangelion: Death (which was essentially a clip show that summarized the entire regular series) and The End of Evangelion , re-edited together to make a version that tells the entire story of Evangelion. It is considered to be the final form of the Evangelion films.

Set after the drama series "Meiji Tokyo Renka." High school student Mei Ayazuki (Rikka Ihara) has travelled back in time to Tokyo in the Meiji period. The Bugster Virus, formed from video games, threatens humanity and seeks to turn Bugsters into complete beings. A hospital intern, Emu Hojo, and three other Kamen Riders (Brave, Snipe, and Lazer) must defeat the virus and save humanity.

真夜中之侦探，讲述的还是关于吸血鬼这个永恒的话题：在百鬼夜行的东京，只有身为吸血鬼的紫藤可以与之对抗。成立侦探社，以侦探之名掩饰身份，与人类共存的紫藤，在同伴布利德出现之后，不堪的往事被慢慢重提……
紫藤：已活了300年的吸血鬼，开了一家侦探事务所，为保护人类而与夜灵作战。

TV2003重制版，是为庆祝EVA企业十周年而重置的版本，画面和音效都有提升。在TV95版的基础上重制了21-24四话重制的部分称作“Video”。加上原有的26集，03版共26话，一共30集。这个版本中21与22，23与24，25与26，27与28都是相同的内容。只不过21，23，25，27和原来一样，而22，24，26，28中增添了一些新的东西。
