本片由金童玉女安藤政信和竹内结子联袂出演。是竹内结子出道后挑起大梁的真正意义上的电影出道作，并同时包办了电影主题曲的演唱。事务所找来在96年凭借北野武《坏孩子的天空》一片囊括日本当年几乎所有新人奖的实力新星安藤政信和竹内一起搭戏，力捧之心，溢于言表。而安藤在本片中对于智障少年的诠释也可圈可点，作为他本人的第二部电影，充分显示了其过人的表演天赋。

Single father Eiji runs a flower shop. A blind woman passing by changes his life forever, but their relationship quickly turns complicated.

Sasaki Shinichi looks at his childhood friend Tanaka Yukino in court. Yukino is sentenced to death. She went to her ex-boyfriend’s apartment and caused his wife and child to burn to death. Shinichi knows his childhood friend and perceives that she is innocent. He wants to save Yukino and meets people who knew her including her sister and former classmates.
