Twins, separated at birth, end up as a Hong Kong gangster and a New York concert pianist. When the pianist travels to Hong Kong for a concert, the two inevitably get mistaken for each other.

合力击败马交文之后，king（刘德华 饰）与化骨龙（张家辉 饰）联合化骨龙的表哥阿叻（陈百祥 饰）骗取了恶人大眼文一笔钱。当他们打算享受一番之际，大眼文把化骨龙抓走了。King与阿叻则被警方带到与中方高层见面，他们被派往拉斯维加斯捉拿大老千Peter朱（万梓良 饰）。为了得到巨款拯救化骨龙，king接受了这次任务，前往拉斯维加斯。
在拉斯维加斯，小心（郁芳 饰）与阿扁（林熙蕾 饰）一心想找到金龟婿，后来加入了king的老千行列。终于他们遇到了Peter，两人互相欺骗更多次交手，敌意渐生。
King用阿扁做饵勾引Peter成功，他们经由沙漠公路到洛杉矶，途中Peter极力逃脱。众人在沙漠奋力搏斗。Peter的手下竟然用直升机拯救，幸好king神机妙算，顺利把Peter带回香港。

阿B（钟镇涛饰）、阿发（周润发饰）都是足球好手。阿发来自大马，有个美丽风流的太太（王祖贤饰），常与男生调笑，令阿发又妒忌又焦虑。阿B的太太（梅艳芳饰）则是个脾气暴燥的女人，她时常埋怨阿B没有出息，而且还常常当众奚落他，使阿B面子尽失，自尊心受到伤害。一次阿B受可太太的气，到酒吧饮闷酒，遇到由大马来港的阿发，阿发也是不满太太对其他的男人太热情，还怀疑她红杏出墙。阿B、阿发互吐心事后，更觉同病相怜，大家酒醉后竟然发起杀妻之念，二人更密谋出不同的杀妻方法，其中尽情地发挥了小气男人的妒忌妻子的梦幻式惩治杀妻方法，可谓洋洋大观，笑话连篇。二人兴头一起，于是达成口头协议，二人各去对方家里杀掉对方的妻子......

Ko Chun, a renowned gambler, loses his memory in an accident and starts behaving like a child. Little Knife, an amateur gambler, offers him shelter and realizes that he has a penchant for gambling.

Following his confrontation with the nefarious DOA organization, Ken (Chow Yun Fat) is looking forward to going back to enjoying his retirement. His rest is cut abruptly short when his protégé Vincent (Shawn Yue), who's now working for Interpol, asks for Ken's help in taking down the real mastermind behind DOA, Aoi. The two head to Thailand, where DOA's former chief accountant Mark (Nick Cheung) has escaped with his daughter.

《今夜不設防》是香港亞洲電視製作的經典傾談節目，由香港亞洲電視製作，由香港三大才子黃霑、倪匡、蔡瀾主持，監製為趙汝強。
亞洲電視於1989年至1990年間製作的成人清談節目，由黃霑、倪匡及蔡瀾主持，於星期六晚上深夜時段播出。每集皆會邀請不同嘉賓接受訪問，由女藝人以至演員及歌手等，節目內容在當時的香港社會而言較為大膽，主持人曾在節目中討論性與愛相關話題，但並無發出違反香港法例的言論；3位主持人亦不時在節目內吸煙、飲酒及講粗口。在節目啟播初期，每當3位主持人講粗口時，電視台會以音頻訊號「嗶」一聲以蓋過原有的粗口，但由於觀眾覺得「嗶」的訊號太過礙耳，經反映後電視台取消了「嗶」訊號聲並直接播出3位主持原有的粗口。
今夜不設防共製作兩輯共26集，先錄影經剪接播出，每周播放一集，曾創下甚高的收視率。英國廣播公司的外景隊曾經拍攝節目錄影的情況。節目亦曾製作一集《金裝今夜不設防》，於一個私家游泳池進行錄影。
