寄宿大学生高桥美咲（樱井孝宏 配音）和大作家宇佐见秋彦（花田光 配音）延续着第一部，仍然继续着他们的恋爱故事。在秋彦的编辑相川小姐和丸川书店的老板的怂恿下，美咲答应参加秋彦的菊川赏得奖纪念酒会。在路途上，美咲意外邂逅了秋彦的哥哥春彦（鸟海浩辅 配音）。小兔老师和家人的关系都很恶劣，夹在中间的美咲左右为难。而难上加难的是，春彦展开了追求美咲的攻势，不是送花就是送草莓，让小兔老师的低气压降到最小值。小兔老师不仅提防着春彦，还得提防着美咲的同学角，但没想到角真正中意的是他自己。
美咲和小兔的恋爱道路上挫折不断。而另外两对，上条弘树（伊藤健太郎 配音）和草间野分（神奈延年 配音）；高槻忍（岸尾大辅 配音）和宮城庸（井上和彦 配音）的感情之路也波折连连。但结局好一切都好。

大学老师上条弘树（伊藤健太郎 配音）单恋着青梅竹马的伙伴秋彦，但最终宣告破裂。偶然机会下，遇到年下的男学生草间野分（神奈延年 配音），弘树答应做野分的家庭老师。二人在加深的交往中，逐步了解和相互吸引。但弘树能否忘记秋彦，投入到这段感情中呢？
