Similar to games like Earthbound, enemy encounters are seen as actual enemies that players can avoid or attempt to strike early. In the same year he moved to Bonn in order to qualify as a lecturer, but the obstacles which the government laid in the path of his friend Bruno Bauer, officially there as lecturer in theology, which culminated in Bauer's removal from the university, soon made it clear to him that there was no room for him at a Prussian university. - This was the time when the younger elements of the radical bourgeoisie of the Rhineland, tinged with Young Hegelianism, urged, in agreement with the liberal leaders Camphausen and Hansemann, the publication of a big opposition paper in Cologne; Marx and Bauer were also consulted as capable main contributors. A concession - necessary at that time - was quietly obtained by a devious route, and the Rheinische Zeitung appeared on January 1, 1842. Marx contributed lengthy articles from Bonn for the new paper; foremost among these were: a critique of proceedings in the Rhine Province Assembly, a study of the situation of the peasant vintners on the Mosel, and another on wood theft and the relevant legislation. During its return to the earth, commercial spaceship Nostromo intercepts a distress signal from a distant planet. In tutto il mondo il gender è sempre più spesso descritto come un mostro dai poteri distruttivi. A sentire chi diffonde il panico, il gender sarebbe una minaccia per la famiglia tradizionale, una negazione delle leggi di natura, un complotto delle élite, un attacco diretto alla mascolinità, Satana in persona, un pericolo per la vita e per la civiltà. Ma chi agita questo fantasma di cosa ha davvero paura? Quale agenda politica, questa sì reale e pericolosa, si nasconde dietro l'ideologia anti-gender?



I movimenti contro l'ʽideologia del gender' ritraggono il genere come un monolite, il cui potere e la cui portata sarebbero devastanti. In Russia il gender è stato definito una minaccia alla sicurezza nazionale. Il Vaticano ritiene sia un rischio per l'intera civiltà e per 'l'uomo' stesso. Per i conservatori di tutto il mondo vuole distruggere la famiglia tradizionale e proibire l'uso di termini come 'madre' e 'padre'. Negli Stati Uniti c'è chi dice che educa i minori all'omosessualità. La lista è ancora lunga.
Dipinto come una minaccia totalitaria, il gender è oggi un fantasma su cui si proiettano una miriade di ansie e paure. È uno spauracchio creato ad arte da chi vuole il ripristino di un ordine sociale autoritario, reazionario, patriarcale.
A più di trent'anni da Questione di genere, non serve allora una nuova teoria del genere, né smontare una a una le falsità in circolazione. Molto più urgente, secondo Judith Butler, è interrogarsi sulla struttura di questo fantasma, per capire da quali scopi è animato e come combatterlo. Spetta a noi produrre un immaginario alternativo, che tuteli i diritti e le libertà conquistati in decenni di lotte. Perché nulla è in grado di sconfiggere questo fantasma più dell'affermazione del desiderio di amare e di esistere nel mondo, respirando, muovendoci e vivendo liberamente. Perché mai non si dovrebbe volere che chiunque possa godere di queste libertà fondamentali?
