Como o anarquismo interpreta a Comuna de Paris? Dentre as interpretações anarquistas da Comuna de Paris se destacam as análises de Bakunin e Kropotkin. De um lado, o anarco-coletivismo de Bakunin observando, pouco tempo após a experiência comunarda, a luta revolucionária em Paris; de outro lado, o anarco-comunismo de Kropotkin analisando o significado da experiência comunarda e seus limites. Nildo Viana, por sua vez, efetiva uma análise crítica das duas abordagens anarquistas sobre a Comuna de Paris. A gênese da ação direta e a sua relação com o anarquismo são os temas principais desta obra. Aqui, o autor busca ampliar a compreensão do campo político utilizando o modelo da guerra proposto por Michel Foucault em seus escritos sobre a governamentalidade, com o objetivo de apreender a ação direta como ação política diferente da concepção liberal. Autores, teóricos e militantes do anarquismo, como Proudhon, Bakunin, Malatesta, Pelloutier e outros, foram referências na pesquisa para reconstituir a teia de significados, relações, referentes e ressonâncias da ação direta dentro do movimento social e operário e, particularmente, no sindicalismo revolucionário e no movimento anarquista. O autor analisou historicamente os escritos de Malatesta, que caracterizam o anarquismo como uma organização política que rejeita certos tipos de autoridade, fazendo um uso ético da violência. A sua pesquisa permitiu considerar a ação direta como uma estratégia ético-política, que se utiliza tanto da violência quanto da persuasão através da "pedagogia revolucionária", da "propaganda pela ação", das greves, dos boicotes, das sabotagens, enfim, das revoltas em que os dois polos de dispositivos políticos (violência e persuasão) se relacionam entre si. Assim, o estudo da ação direta empreendido por Adonile A. Guimarães possibilita a compreensão do campo político para além dos parâmetros da democracia liberal e abre para novas formas de se fazer e compreender a política na modernidade.

Entre Mutualismo e o Sindicalismo: A Resistência Solidária dos Trabalhadores Portuários de Fortaleza (1912-1933) explora as relações oriundas da organização sindical e a ação política dos trabalhadores portuários de Fortaleza nas primeiras décadas do século XX. Nágila Maia de Morais Galvão oferece aos estudiosos do trabalho, uma contribuição respeitável da história dos trabalhadores no Ceará, sua atuação e a interação entre formação, consciência e organização política dos portuários cearenses no período em tela. Assim, sua pesquisa constitui uma excelente contribuição aos estudos sobre trabalhadores portuários que tem despontado na América Latina, Europa e Estados Unidos.

Reassembling the Social is a fundamental challenge from one of the world's leading social theorists to how we understand society and the 'social'. Bruno Latour's contention is that the word 'social' as used by Social Scientists has become laden with assumptions to the point where it has become a misnomer. When the adjective is applied to a phenomenon, it is used to indicate a stabilized state of affairs, a bundle of ties that in due course may be used to account for another phenomenon. Latour also finds the word used as if it described a type of material, in a comparable way to an adjective such as 'wooden' or 'steely'. Rather than simply indicating what is already assembled together, it is now used in a way that makes assumptions about the nature of what is assembled. It has become a word that designates two distinct things: a process of assembling: and a type of material, distinct from others. Latour shows why 'the social' cannot be thought of as a kind of material or domain, and disputes attempts to provide a 'social explanation' of other states of affairs. While these attempts have been productive (and probably necessary) in the past, the very success of the social sciences mean that they are largely no longer so. At the present stage it is no longer possible to inspect the precise constituents entering the social domain. Latour returns to the original meaning of 'the social' to redefine the notion and allow it to trace connections again. It will then be possible to resume the traditional goal of the social sciences, but using more refined tools. Drawing on his extensive work examining the 'assemblages' of nature, Latour finds it necessary to scrutinize thoroughly the exact content of what is assembled under the umbrella of Society. This approach, a 'sociology of associations' has become known as Actor-Network-Theory, and this book is an essential introduction both for those seeking to understand Actor-Network-Theory, or the ideas of one of its most influential proponents.

Rejeitada pelos Russos, Tsvietaieva tentava penetrar no meio literário de Paris. Escrevia poemas em francês; traduzia-se para francês, escolhendo um dos seus longos poemas russos e chamando-lhe Le Gars; compunha duas prosas singulares: Meu Irmão Feminino e «Noites Florentinas» (nenhuma delas publicada durante o seu tempo de vida).

São prosas escritas entre 1932 e 1934, a primeira dirigida a Natalie Barney («a amazona» que transtornava cabeças de homens e mulheres pelos salões da cidade, pretexto para reflexões sobre a grande fatalidade do amor lésbico), inspirada a segunda pelo belo Abraham Vichniak (que lhe desencantava mais fatalidades, agora do amor heterossexual), ambas sob a forma epistolar, ambas dirigidas a interlocutores «ausentes».

Com um núcleo escrito originalmente em russo, o texto essencial de «Noites Florentinas» foi traduzido (melhor dizendo, recriado) em francês pela autora, segundo nos diz numa carta a Anna Teskova. Tsvietaieva fala do seu trabalho durante o Inverno de 1932-33 e destaca a tradução de nove cartas acrescentadas por outra, que lhes dá resposta, e ainda por um Posfácio ou A Face Póstuma das Coisas e o relato do último encontro com o destinatário cinco anos depois, na noite de passagem do ano. Diz também que de tudo isto resulta uma obra completa, redigida pela própria vida.
