i watch way too many usamerican movies (proportionally). particularly since recent developments there, i've been wanting to change that.

note: i've included movies from all other countries besides the US, despite their particular history of human rights violations. that's because (1) i believe that, as of today, the US has the greatest capacity to influence foreign policy and thinking through its media and (2) this is mainly an attempt to reduce my cultural dependence on a single country and diversify my perspectives.
