Solely reviewing the new 4K transfer here since it's been so controversial, and I have to say it really does look incredibly weird and fucked up in a lot of places. Screenshots can't even do it justice, it just looks constantly bizarre in motion. It’s like everything needs to always be in-focus, lit, grain-free, high-contrast, and smooth. I actually want to spring this on unsuspecting people and see how long it takes for them to comment on how goddamn weird it looks. James Cameron why do you need to do this to your films.
