Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938)

Ah yes, Snow White is the epitome of old school Disney magic. I love the early style: fluidly animated, round, rubbery shapes. And those magic choirs get me every time. It's a type of naive, contemporary romanticism that could never be revived today. The watercolor background artwork is gorgeous, the scenes where Snow White is lost in the forest are haunting, and so on. This marked the true takeoff of an animation empire.
