Taika, why? WWII comedies belong to the 1970s and 1980s, to Mel Brooks. The same goes for 'Germans' who speak English with a fake German accent. Admittedly, in 2009 Tarantino managed to pull off a decent WWII comedy in the shape of Inglourious Basterds. After ten minutes of watching Jojo Rabbit I still hadn't even grinned, let alone laughed. So it became clear that this one wasn't going to work for me, and I stopped it. I loved Taika Waititi's Boy (2010) though.
