a review of 重金属囧途

Heavy Trip is a reasonably entertaining Heavy Metal comedy about an aspiring Finnish Metal band that wants to make it to a renowned Norwegian Metal festival. I thought the first half was amusing. The comedic situations made me laugh or smile frequently. But the film lost its momentum in the second half, and changed into a dragging, slightly childish farce. When it comes to Heavy Metal comedy, I had much more fun watching Deathgasm. If you're into this kind of adolescent humor and don't know Deathgasm, I can recommend it.
