a review of 异形奇花

Little Shop of Horrors was one of those classics I still hadn't seen yet. I'm... how can I say this politely... not much of a musical aficionado. Having said this, one of my all-time favorite films is actually a musical: The Blues Brothers. So to please my wife I agreed to watch the Director's Cut of Little Shop of Horrors on her birthday anniversary. And what do you know... Little Shop of Horrors turned out to be a lot of fun, drenched in delicious sarcasm. The plant puppetry / animatronics are masterful, the caricatural characters are enjoyable, and the story is quite original. Heck, I even enjoyed the songs. But don't tell anyone!
