The Endless is an odd beast of a sci-fi flick. I liked it. The acting style and cinematography establish an illusion of authenticity, almost like watching an autobiographical documentary about two brothers who return to a UFO-centered cult in which they grew up. The Endless features some interesting, surreal sci-fi concepts, reminiscent of Richard Kelly's films (Donnie Darko, The Box), and the special effects are not bad for a film that feels like an indie production.
