a review of 蠢蛋进化论

Idiocracy had been on my watchlist for a few years now, and I finally saw it. Having a weak spot for Mike Judge since Beavis & Butthead and Office Space, I enjoyed Idiocracy. It made me laugh out loud several times in the first thirty minutes. After those first thirty minutes, the Naked Gun style rapid fire of corny jokes diminished, and my laughter silenced, although I didn't get bored. Idiocracy's satirical humor level picked up steam again towards the end, and overall I had a good time. Just the film's concept was already worth watching it, and I guess there could be no better time to view Idiocracy than a time where a narcissistic right-wing capitalist president is making one inconsiderate decision after another, leading the USA into regrettable degradation.
