a review of 背水一战

The Last Stand felt similar to Escape Plan: good ol' Schwarzenegger starring in a second-rate action film with the caliber of an old Bud Spencer / Terence Hill droll story, except that kind of hackneyed cheesiness doesn't work for me anymore, at least not mixed with the semi-seriousness of The Last Stand. The unequalled facial expressions of Schwarzenegger did make me laugh a few times though, like they always have.
