a review of 超人：钢铁之躯

I watched Man Of Steel with low expectations, after hesitating for a long time to watch it. Henry Cavill is the ideal Mister Perfect to play Superman. He's a likeable guy, but the movie has no soul. The characters are one-dimensional, and what remains is a seemingly endless show-off of spectacular CG effects, which are very well done, and reflect the flabbergasting $225,000,000 budget for Man Of Steel. But all the spectacular audiovisuals in the world can't beat the disarming charm of Richard Donner's original 1978 Superman movie, featuring Christopher Reeve. Classic silver screen magic that made me desperately want to be Superman as a kid.
