a review of 战争

Krigen (A War) is one of the best war movies I've seen in a while. Not in a 'Look how authentically we recreated revolting bloodshed' kind of way, but because of how the film deals with the difficult moral and ethical dilemmas that come with warfare. Krigen effectively shows how much more complicated war is than a mere 'good versus bad'. I also admire the realistic portrayal of how war affects a soldier's personal life. Everything is so credible that the film almost felt like watching a documentary.
